The definition of sequencing is the ability to understand how a series of events occur in order and the approximate duration of those events. For example, duration might be, which takes longer, getting dressed or walking/driving to school?
In this post you will find engaging, educational activities that are perfect for your science, literacy and non-standard measurement math centres.
These activities will help teach students to learn and build an understanding of the essential skills of sequencing.
Students will learn to:
- compare and order events, images, thoughts, and actions
- break down an event into simple steps and put them in order
- talk about something that happened in the past in a logical manner so others can follow
- understand how to perform certain everyday tasks that require the steps to be done in a specific order or sequence; like making our bed or brushing our teeth.
